Education for All Children
Obliterating Child Labor
According to UNESCO, over 244 million children are out of school, and nearly all of these children are engaged in child labor. Forced child labor exists in every sector around the world, and we believe this reality is the single most significant contributor to cyclical poverty because children who are forced into menial labor and forced out of school are unable to increase their earning and creative capacity, often ensuring they will work in the same job forever. We know it doesn’t have to be this way. Through our education program, we partner with human rights-focused organizations worldwide to build schools, pay teachers, and provide the necessary materials, clothing, and meals for all children to enjoy a quality education. Whether they are growing up in literal dumps such as Kachra Kundi, or have special needs, it is the right of every child to learn and become an asset to themselves and their families. It costs only $1 a day to send a child to school, and with your support, we believe we can send 1 million children back to school.
