TCF-USA, the American arm of The Citizens Foundation, supports various educational initiatives in Pakistan. Since its inception in 1995, TCF has established 1,921 purpose-built schools, offering quality education to 286,000 children, and employing an all-female faculty of 14,000 teachers. TCF-USA donors have contributed to the construction and support of over 249 of these schools, impacting the lives of more than 65,000 boys and girls.

The Qamar uz Zaman Campus, founded in 2008, stands as a beacon of hope in Gujji, Thatta. For many enrolled students, this school represents the first opportunity in their family’s history to receive an education. By breaking the generational cycle of poverty, TCF alumni earn, on average, 55% more than their parents shortly after graduation.
Led by a dedicated all-female faculty, the Qamar uz Zaman Campus embodies a commitment to building a better future for the children and the community. The teachers view their roles not just as jobs, but as a calling and purpose to uplift and empower the next generation.
The grant provided by OUF to support this campus includes $20,000 to cover operational costs for the 2024-2025 academic year. This funding supports 188 students, comprising 71% boys and 29% girls, along with 15 staff members. The impact of this grant extends beyond the immediate beneficiaries, fostering a brighter future for the children, their families, the teachers, and ultimately, Pakistan as a whole.

The partnership between the One Ummah Foundation and The Citizens Foundation exemplifies how united efforts can make a substantial difference in the fight against child labor and poverty. By focusing on education and holistic family support, these organizations are paving the way for a more equitable and prosperous future for all.
