With the economy struggling and resources scarce, many families find it difficult to feed their children and loved ones. OUF's Life-Changing Support

One Ummah Foundation has been consistently supporting the families in Barawa, Somalia, especially those living in the camp, who continue to suffer from a lack of food. The foundation has always been there for these vulnerable communities, providing essential food rations like rice, flour, sugar, and cooking oil. Through its ongoing efforts, OUF has enabled hundreds of families to meet their basic needs, helping them survive and sustain themselves in the face of hardship.

One Ummah Foundation's Past Efforts in Barawa

One Ummah Foundation supported Barawa through several impactful initiatives. One notable effort was providing vital support to a single mother of three young children facing unimaginable hardships, by the construction of a two-room container house with an attached bathroom, offering the family a safe and dignified living space.

In addition to supporting mothers, OUF was at the forefront of relief efforts during times of adversity, delivering essential aid such as food, tents, tarps, clean water, and toiletries to the community. The foundation also distributed crucial food supplies to households in Barawa, including sugar, cooking oil, flour, and rice, helping to alleviate food insecurity and ensure families had access to these basic staples.

Furthermore, OUF focused on building essential infrastructure, such as constructing bathrooms and distributing tarps in internally displaced persons (IDPs) camps, significantly improving living conditions and sanitation for displaced families. These combined efforts brought much-needed stability and hope to the people of Barawa.
